Coral sculptures with a natural shagreen texture in delicate pink and lilac shades, made with 3D printing.

The pieces were printed in plastic using FDM technology, with the larger forms printed in several sections. After printing, the models went through props post-processing in our workshop. We assembled the parts into solid sculptures, concealed the seams and print layers, recreated the shagreen texture so the surface looks natural, and hand-painted each coral.

3D printing allowed us to accurately reproduce the complex organic shapes of the corals at a large scale.
