Millennium of Russia

The original monument in Veliky Novgorod features 128 sculpted figures, all reproduced here at a reduced scale. The work began with photogrammetry: our 3D sculptors refined the models to a true portrait likeness, keeping the historical figures recognizable. The model was printed in sections from blue photopolymer resin. After printing, our workshop handled the post-processing: assembling the parts into a single composition and fine surface finishing.

3D printing preserved the fine detail of the figures and reliefs, producing an accurate replica of the original. The model drew crowds at the forum and was highly praised by the mayor of Veliky Novgorod.
