DONUTS

We made decorative objects in a voxel pixel-art style: 3D donuts with glaze and sprinkles, some of them in an “exploding” version with spiky rays.

The figures were 3D printed in plastic, hand painted in color blocks (contrasting purple glaze, yellow base, colorful sprinkles) and finally assembled from several parts.

The objects became part of the set design for the tenth anniversary edition of VK Asian Dragon Fest in Moscow, an Asian culture festival and dance and vocal cover contest that drew more than 3,000 spectators in the hall and over 9.1 million views online.
